That’s why the GE Wellness Plan allows you to protect your family with a health care program that includes Dental, Vision, Pharmacy, Hearing, and Chiropractic services. And, because this is not insurance, there are no deductibles, no claim forms, and no annual limits to the benefits you can receive.

Most services your participating provider completes have a corresponding American Dental Association (ADA) code. Each 4-digit ADA code describes a specific dental procedure. Payment for services performed is due at the time of service. There are no paperwork hassles or claim forms to submit.

Dental insurance is rather unique. First, its low cost makes it highly affordable for individuals and families. Second, because dental insurance encourages and generally pays for regular check-ups, many people who purchase protection start to benefit immediately.

The availability of dental insurance is the single greatest factor in helping you get the dental care you need. More than 48 percent of all Americans--113 million of us--are covered by privately financed dental insurance plans. This compares with just 12 million people who had such coverage in 1970. As a result of increased access to regular care and the widespread use of preventive measures, the incidence of dental decay has dropped sharply. Dental Plans differ from dental insurance. Dental insurance typically provides you with coverage that has a monetary cap on benefits that you are able to receive per year (typically $1,000). Most dental insurance policies also have a pre-existing clause which may not allow a you to receive treatment for a dental problem which you currently have until waiting for a specified length of time. The ® dental plan has NO WAITING and all pre-existing conditions are accepted. Furthermore, with our dental plan there are NO DEDUCTIBLES, which is not the case with a majority of dental insurance policies. You can also see the dentist immediately upon being accepted with the ® dental plan. With dental insurance you may have to wait and have a limit on the number of visits per year that are payable by the policy. You NEVER have to do this with our dental plan. You can visit as many times as you wish and are never required to wait. The only requirement that you have is that you must use one of our plan dentists.

Many people are not aware of the many problems that can orrcur such as gum disease which can really get you down, but it won't if you have dental insurance and proper dental care
